After Lent, there is a big reward at Easter. Although, it shouldn’t be quite that thick. Because conscious renunciation shows us what we can optimize in our lives. Now is the best time to maintain good habits. Anyone who has laboriously lost a few kilos should not immediately go all out with the Easter menu. If you have discovered regular water drinking during Lent, it is best to stick to it. There may still be the odd treat or two. And we should consciously enjoy them after the arduous renunciation!

Easter – time for a double reward

The tongue is a true marvel. Every day, almost 10,000 taste buds provide different taste sensations. Taste perceptions can be influenced by habituation. If you have given up sweets for a while, you will notice that the chocolate eggs taste much sweeter. The sensory impressions when eating and drinking are decisive for what ultimately ends up in the mouth. Psychological aspects also play a role. Especially after Lent, Easter has a culinary reward character. Then it tastes twice as good.

Not all water is the same

The Easter menu has been planned, the wine bought and the table decorations made. The water is still missing. In fact, water is the perfect accompaniment to any dish. The taste buds should have every reason to rejoice. That’s why water is the perfect coalition partner when it comes to food. And we can choose one for ourselves. Because water delivers what it promises, is basically clear and transparent. And it always behaves in a balancing neutral manner, even after moving moments. But when should it be quiet, when should it be lively and sparkling?

Vital minerals such as calcium, sodium and magnesium give the mineral water a more salty or stronger taste. If you love the more intense taste, you’ve come to the right place. Carbonic acid brings a sparkling liveliness into play. It is often the combination of both that makes the taste of a mineral water particularly characteristic. But still water also has its sensory benefits, especially when combined with wine.

Water & wine: a predictable harmony at Easter

If all harmony in everyday life could be planned as well as with water, life would be much easier. Everyone thinks about which wine to serve with the meal. Which water goes with which wine is often not taken into account. The wine professional recommends for a harmonious festive table:

Water and wine are always a perfect pairing for enjoyment in a glass.
