The 14. February 14th – Valentine’s Day – is dedicated to lovers and is believed to have its origins in St. Valentine, Bishop of Terni, from the 3rd century AD. He is said to have presented lovers with flowers from his monastery garden. In recent decades, business has been booming in Germany with flowers and other gifts around Valentine’s Day. Water would be a slightly different gift idea. Because love and water have more than just one common denominator:

Valentine’s dinner with special water

The way to the heart is through the stomach. The personal favorite food makes every heart beat faster. This is usually accompanied by a good Wine and a special water. organic mineral water, moonlight water or luxury water in an elaborate designer bottle provide the icing on the cake for a romantic Valentine’s dinner. The unusual water is sure to create a little surprise effect with still or sparkling moments at the beautifully laid dining table.

Gifts of water instead of flowers?

Like flowers every year? Flowers need water, and so do your favorite people. Water utensils as a gift may sound a little strange at first. And yet there are wonderful ideas, such as trendy plasticizer-free plastic or glass drinking bottles for on the go. A water carafe with infused water insert, water glasses, water stones, a water filter or water bubbler are useful and practical gift ideas for health and well-being at home.

A real matter of the heart: drinking water

You can also give yourself the gift of water , i.e. do something good for your own body. At least 1.5 liters should be the average per day so that the body can work unhindered. And the heart in particular, as a kind of suction and pressure pump, needs sufficient water. Similar to pure water in nature, human blood moves through the body through cardiac activity. Sufficient water can lower the blood pressure and relieve the heart . From this point of view, drinking water is the simplest way to prevent heart attacks. Even a loss of around 10% of the water in the body increases the risk of a heart attack or stroke.

Lovesickness and water

While many celebrate their love on February 14, others sit at home alone with heartache and possibly shed tears. The good news is that drinking enough water can also help with heartache . Lovesickness manifests itself in a variety of individual symptoms that can be very different. However, grief basically means stress for the body. In stressful situations, the body is even more dependent on a sufficient supply of water. Therefore, especially when your thoughts are racing and your heart is heavy, you should drink water regularly   . Every sip of water reduces the stress on the body a little more.

Water – the greatest gift: Basically, water is the greatest gift anyone can give their body. This is because the human organism consists of around 70 percent water in adulthood. Without it, life would not be possible. Therefore: whoever gives water, gives life!
